As
we begin to perceive and experience God in the world around us and
in our lives, our mind, body, and spirit will want to shout out
appreciation and thanks to the living God. At Hurstville Church
of Christ, we put a lot of effort into making our services of worship
relevant, meaningful, and inspiring because we have been overcome
by God's compassion and love through the life, death, and resurrection
of his son, Jesus the Christ, which leads us to believe, with confidence,
his promise: "I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"
(John 10:10, nrsv).
We
would be particularly pleased if you were to allow us the opportunity
to make your acquaintance by joining us for our Sunday
morning service of worship:

Morning
Worship Service
|
10.00am
|
Our
morning service of worship is held at 10.00am, and features a family-oriented
mix of traditional and contemporary music, prayer for our community
and our world, and teaching that highlights the Christian scriptures
and their relevance to practical issues of daily living.
Each week our service includes sharing in Communion - following the tradition
of the Churches of Christ and affiliates worldwide - which is an
act of worship for those who desire to be friends of Jesus.
Kids' Church
While
the children participate in the opening sections of our morning
service, we also have a programme for children which
runs at the same time.
At
the conclusion of our morning service, there is a time for fellowship
and refreshments in our church hall. We would be pleased if you
were to join us this Sunday. If you find yourself in the Hurstville
area, feel free to drop-in. If you have any questions or comments,
then please do not hesitate to contact us at your convenience.
