Sunday Services at Hurstville

As we begin to perceive and experience God in the world around us and in our lives, our mind, body, and spirit will want to shout out appreciation and thanks to the living God. At Hurstville Church of Christ, we put a lot of effort into making our worship services engaging, meaningful, and inspiring because we have been overcome by God’s compassion and love through the life, death, and resurrection of his Son, Jesus Christ, which leads us to believe, with confidence, his promise: “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly” (John 10:10, nrsv).

Everyone is welcome – our church is full of people from different backgrounds – all exploring the claims of Jesus.

If you would like to learn more about Jesus and Christianity, we would be delighted to meet you and look forward to seeing you at our Sunday morning worship service.

Morning Worship Service – 9.30am
Our morning service starts at 9.30am, and features a friendly, family-oriented mix of traditional and contemporary music, prayer for our community and our world, and teaching that highlights the Christian scriptures and their relevance to practical issues of daily living.

Each week our service includes sharing in Communion – following the tradition of the Churches of Christ and affiliates worldwide – which is an act of worship for those who desire to be friends of Jesus.

Children – Compass Kids
Children are invited to participate in our morning service, and then children over 3 are invited to join with other kids for Compass Kids (Kids’ Church) – where they can learn more about who God is and how He works through Bible stories and activities.

At the conclusion of our morning service, there is a time to get to know each other personally over coffee and refreshments. We would be pleased if you were to join us this Sunday. If you find yourself in the Hurstville area, feel free to drop-in. If you have any questions or comments, then please do not hesitate to contact us.
