Ken was commissioned into ministry at Hurstville Church of Christ on Sunday 30 May 2010.
Having grown up in the Sutherland Shire, Ken completed an electrical apprenticeship and become a qualified electrician.
Upon being called to full-time ministry, Ken graduated with a Diploma in Divinity and Missions, and an Advanced Diploma in Pastoral Care, from Sydney Missionary and Bible College (Sydney, NSW), and subsequently a Bachelor of Ministries from Morling Baptist College (Sydney, NSW).
Ken’s previous ministries include being youth, associate and then senior pastor at Cronulla Baptist Church and as pastor / teacher at Kingsway Community Church [Caringbah Church of Christ]. He has also led youth camps in New South Wales, Tasmania, the Northern Territory (as a youth worker and electrician with aborigines on Groote Eylandt with the Church Missionary Society (CMS)), and in the United States (in West Virginia and Maryland).
In addition to his ministries and youth work, Ken has worked for Telstra, Australia Post, and more recently as operations manager at Integra Water Treatment Services.
Ken is married to Fiona, and they have four children. |
