to assist parents to learn healthy ways to parent their pre-schoolers

Starting Points is a parenting skills program created by Focus on the Family Australia for mothers, fathers and caregivers of
0-4 year old children.
Starting Points aims to give a sense of hope and excitement to your role
as parents and caregivers. There has never been a time when the
challenge of parenting has been greater and this program is designed to
help parents and caregivers focus on a good and positive family life by
equipping them with effective skills for caring for children in their early years.
WHEN
We will be running this course over two sessions Friday 31 October, 7.30pm - 9.30pm (registration from 7pm)
and continuing on Saturday 1 November, 9am - 5pm.
WHERE
The course will take place at the Church, 31 MacMahon Street, Hurstville.
WHO
The program will be facilitated by Ian and Marcia Forest-Jones.
COST
The course will cost $60 per person or $100 per couple (which includes workbook, and morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on Saturday).
PROGRAM
The program will cover the following topics:
- My Child's Developing Personality
- Building Self Confidence
- Correcting My Child and Setting Boundaries
- Important Relationships
